Bernard and I will always keep Ringo in a very special place in our hearts. Being our first dog to show in the conformation ring, he endured our learning pains to become the consummate show dog. He absolutely hated waiting at ringside to take his turn in the confirmation show ring, but when he entered it he was in his element. He loved an audience, holding his head on high and presenting himself in the best possible manner. He never became a AKC Champion but was pointed out lacking only his majors. This was not his shortcoming but our naivete in the conformation ring.
Still loving the show ring Ringo became a UKC Grand Champion at the ripe old age of 7+ years. Ringo sired 4 beautiful litters. Many of his off-spring have gone on to excel in conformation and performance activities. His legacy will live on in these wonderful boxers long after his passing.
