EJ was a tough little dude, exuberant and full of life!!! Enduring a premature C-section and the loss of his mother, he became the sole survivor of his litter of seven puppies. Since he had no mother or littermates to teach him how to be a dog, Bernard and I took on that role. It was a learning experience for us to completely raise a pup from birth. With his pedigree it’s no wonder he turned out to be such a handsome boy and an excellent example of his breed. Unfortunately, because his coloring is more than one-third white, he was unable to show in conformation. If he had, he would certainly have become a champion!!!
EJ died all too soon from a very aggressive form of cancer. Bernard and I miss his energy and total enthusiasm for life. Each and every activity was an new adventure for him even though he had done it many times before. He lived his life doing exactly what he wanted. Thank goodness his cancer and its associated pain was quick and short lived. He will have a very special place in our hearts as he was truly one of a kind!!!
