Our friend, Rose Northcutt, envisioned the breeding of our foundation dog, Ringo (Can-Cia's Hard Days Night), and her bitch, Remy (Remy Leadoo). The first breeding was so successful we decided to do it again!!
Dunn, Josey and Kahlua were first generation off-spring of our Ringo (Can-Cia's Hard Days Night) and Remy (Remy Leadoo). Kate was a second generation off-spring, the daughter of Josey. All four boxers titled in Conformation and/or Performance in AKC and/or UKC and were truly shining stars. Dunn was a litter mate of our Paisley in the first breeding; Josey and Kahlua were litter mates in a repeat breeding. Kate was the dam of our Lizzy. All four of them lived long and productive lives.
Dunn lived with Rose & Ron Northcutt on a farm in Sherrard, IL along with many boxer brothers & sisters. Additionally, Rose’s many grandchildren absolutely loved playing with Dunn at the farm. He will always be remembered for his sweet personality except when he was in ‘guard dog mode’. Then he was ferocious!!!
Dunn was quite successful in both AKC & UKC Conformation. He earned 11 points with one major, one 4-point major shy of an AKC Champion title. He also earned UKC Show Champion & UKC Grand Show Champion titles.

Kahlua lived with Erin & Tom Rezmer in Lombard, IL. along with her boxer brothers & sisters. She was a happy loving boxer girl. She taught Erin & Tom to live life with joy every day and never place limits on your abilities. She had a mind of her own that allowed her to accomplish far more than was ever expected!!!
Kahlua was a highly decorated performance boxer as can be seen by the numerous titles before and after her name. Her trial debut was at Boxer Nationals in May, 2008 where she won her first Rally Novice leg at the age of 6 months. From that time on Tom & Erin dedicated many, many hours to her training and entered multitudes of competitions to exhibit her talents. They have logged many miles taking her to Obedience, Rally, Agility and Nosework Trials.
Kahlua attended the second annual Master’s Agility Championship at Westminster in February 2015. She performed beautifully in the afternoon qualifying rounds and made the cut for the final televised competition in the evening. That was an absolutely amazing accomplishment!!!
On February 15, 2020, Kahlua was chosen to receive the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Performance Award from Lyon's Township Dog Training Club at the dog training club's annual award banquet. Qualifications for this award are stringent but Kahlua’s accomplishments more than met them. What an honor for this fabulous boxer girl!!!
